CI 3557 - Build It! Design Technology and Elementary STEAM Education Course Description:  
This course focuses on developing strategies for integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) in the elementary school curriculum. Preservice teachers will work with a wide range of materials - Legos, wood, cameras, computers and more - to design, build, and test a variety of creations, including self-propelled cars, robots and stop-motion animations. Students will explore how such project-based learning activities can be used in classrooms to foster innovation, collaboration and creativity.
